Angus Turner Jones (born October 8, 1993) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Jake Harper in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men (2003-present), for which he won the 2006-2007 Silver Icon Award from Travolta Family Entertainment.

Early life

Jones was born in Austin, Texas, to Kelly Charles Jones and Carey Lynn Claypool. He lived in Ontario, California during his childhood. He has a younger brother named Otto.

Career

Aside from Two and a Half Men, he has also had roles in several movies, including See Spot Run (2001) as James alongside David Arquette, The Rookie (2002) alongside Dennis Quaid, Bringing Down the House (2003) alongside Steve Martin, Queen Latifah, and Kimberly J. Brown, and George of the Jungle 2 (2003) alongside Thomas Haden Church. He has also appeared in 2005's The Christmas Blessing alongside Neil Patrick Harris, Rebecca Gayheart, and Rob Lowe.

In the May 2008 issue of People magazine he was named one of the "World's Richest Teens" with earnings of $1.2 million per season of Two and a Half Men.
