Glenn Martin Christopher Francis Quinn (May 28, 1970 – December 3, 2002) was an Irish actor in television and film. As well as having a role as a major character in the television series Angel, he also had a recurring role as Mark Healy in the comedy Roseanne and the short-lived UK series Covington Cross.

Biography

Early life

Glenn Martin Christopher Francis Quinn was born in Dublin, Ireland, and raised in Cabinteely, County Dublin. As a teenager, he played drums in a band, and acted in productions at small local theatres. Quinn attended Clonkeen College and moved to the Long Beach area of California in 1988 with his mother, Bernadette, and sisters Sonya and Louisa. He worked odd jobs at power plants, restaurants and more before deciding to pursue an acting career.

Career

Quinn did commercials for Pepsi and Ray-Ban, appeared in the music video for the Richard Marx song "Satisfied," and was an extra in the pilot of Beverly Hills, 90210, though he was barely visible in the final broadcast version. His first speaking part was as a guest-star in an episode of the short-lived The Outsiders.
