Matt Roth (born
September 15 1964) is an American actor. He had a recurring role on
Roseanne as Fisher (1992-1993). He is also married to
Roseanne and
Desperate Housewives co-star
Laurie Metcalf. The two have a son and a daughter: Will Theron Roth, born November 20, 1993, and Mae Akins, born by a surrogate (July 2005). He is also the stepfather of
Zoe Perry, Metcalfe's daughter with
Jeff Perry.
He joined the cast of
Desperate Housewives in fall 2006 as new neighbor
Art Shephard.
