Rita Hayworth, who took her movie name from her mother's maiden name.
She appeared in the
Ziegfeld Follies["Rita Hayworth, Movie Legend, Dies" The New York Times, May 16, 1987.], met her husband, Spanish-born dancer
Eduardo Cansino, Sr in 1916 and married him in 1917. She and Eduardo formed a
vaudeville act called The Dancing Cansinos.
