Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives takes one hour dramas to a whole new level. The show blends mystery, drama, steamy hook-ups, and comedy into a casserole of crazy! It has revived the careers of soap opera alums Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, and Nicolette Sheridan and turned Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman from forgettable B-list actresses to major A-list stars. Desperate Housewives follows five suburban women and their lives in the quiet community of Wisteria Lane. Viewers can see the secrets they keep, the lies they tell, and the steamy situations they get into all through the eyes of their friend, Mary Alice Young, who committed suicide to hide her double life. Inspired by his mother's suburban life, creator Marc Cherry has created a guilty pleasure enjoyed by the world over and has made a majorly successful show for ABC.
