I'm casted as an extra playing Defense Co-Counsel for Jim Carrey's character 'Steven Russell'
in the movie, 'I Love You Phillip Morris.' I've got two scenes in the Courtroom with him,
the first is his sentencing hearing.

Elizabeth, you are right, this site has so much to learn from, make a notebook out of all the printouts and it is worth a workshop; view the writeups and print, you get rank points, also under "essentials," start a semi-pro address book as those extra and under 5 casting people will be bigger in less than years. Sorry you had to get that email, a long time friend bashed me for entering late the contest and her best friend took it to the gutter, I'm outta here, but on my terms, best of everythin! |

Actually I went the "safe route" too. I run our family business right now that I've been working in since I was a teen. But I've always been told that tv/movies is what I should do so here I am. I was a candidate for Big Brother 9 but let my current career get in the way of moving fwd with that...so I backed out. I think that you were right when you said that sometimes you just hafta stop playing the safe route and follow your heart ya know??? So what's your next move? |

Hi Elizabeth, you'd best check with the local Civic Light Opera for open auditions, as one play with the, even if you only hold a spear, as in an Opera, you learn more than any workshop. Ignore the franchises Casablanca and John Robt Powers are lousy since John died. Also contact the local high school dramatic arts teachers who will tell you where they sent gifted youth. A play is the quickest way to film, as in Hwd, casting people and jr agents go 6 nites a week, as homework for that new talent |
